Why earnings are held for 7 days
The escrow hold explained from the seller's side.
When your item sells, the buyer's payment sits in escrow for 7 days after delivery. After that, it moves to your balance automatically.
This exists to cover the buyer's guarantee window. It is also what convinces buyers to purchase from a marketplace they have never used — which means more sales for you.
You can track every held payment and its release countdown in your Wallet, item by item.
When the hold pauses
If the buyer opens a dispute, that order's payout freezes until the dispute is resolved. Honest sellers rarely see this.
